All returning Coaches and Referees must register yearly as “Returning Volunteers” (required).  New AYSO Coaches and Referees must register as “New Volunteers” before they can volunteer with the KIDS.  Go to, log-in, select the appropriate link (New or Returning Volunteer) and remember to e-sign the last page.

There are 17 “Basic” Laws of the Game of Soccer

All games will be played at the Visalia Riverway Sports Park.



Below are the Volunteer (Team Points) Guidelines:

CONCESSION STAND: 2 volunteers per team will be needed for a 2 hour shift. There may be 1 youth 12 years or older w/ 1 adult per team per shift (total 4 volunteer hours). No shift splitting is allowed. No points will be given to a team if 1 volunteer shows for 1 hour and a 2nd volunteer shows for the 2nd hour. The 3:00 shift is a tear down, clean up shift. The volunteers for this shift should come prepared to get dirty. Any person with long hair, please tie it back before your shift. We serve food and need to be in compliance with the Food Safety regulations. The floor gets wet, please wear sneakers for you safety.
TRASH DUTY: Some teams will be assigned trash duty. Wear a hat….these volunteers will be walking the fields removing full trash bags from the field trash cans and picking up trash that has ended up on the ground instead of a trash can. 
SET-UP: 2 able bodied volunteers from each team. Set-up starts at 6:30 a.m. , meet by the Region’s trailer.  You will be lifting, toting, getting the fields ready for the day. 
TAKE-DOWN: Take-down will start at 5 pm, meet by the Region’s trailer. You will be lifting, toting, taking down the fields for the day.  This task also needs 2 able bodied volunteers from each team.

TEAM REFEREE: Must do 1 match per Saturday and 3 on Playoff weekend.  2 Make-up games are allowed.  Must be an afternoon match (1pm or later) to count as a make-up game.  U10 or higher division matches count towards Team Referee Points (CR or AR count).
